Welcome to Week 1
YOUR FIRST DESTINATION: TRUST CENTER
Trust is a profound conviction (to feel and know), that beyond the pain and suffering, my life is wonderful and worth living to its full potential.
To begin exploring this capacity, follow these 3 easy steps:
1. SEE the video to deepen your understanding of the TRUST CENTER
All the videos follow the same sequence:
- Brief explanation of the capacity and the HEALTHY and UNHEALTHY manifestations
- A personal example to illustrate the capacity
- Brief demonstration of the BODY MOVEMENT used to activate this capacity.
- OBSERVE yourself during the entire week.
Use the POWERFUL QUESTIONS to guide your reflective process. We recommend you register your observations.
We sometimes observe an emotion, a thought or behavior we do not necessarily understand at the moment. The insight may arrive later and you will then be able to return to what you wrote to deepen your understanding.
- What situations or circumstances lead you to doubt yourself? When do you feel fear? (Ej: Fear of failure, losing face, inadequacy, rejection)
- When do you observe a tendency to control situations or people?
- In what spaces or scenarios do you lose vitality?
- In what ways do you waste or deplete your energy?
- How do you nurture and take care of yourself?
- Observe your thoughts, emotions and behavior: When do you exhibit a tendency towards courage? Prudence? Violence? Irrational fear?
- ACTIVATE your Trust Capacity by practicing the movements presented in the video. Use the MUSIC LINK we have provided to inspire you.
Find an appropriate time and space to practice the movements during the entire song. Allow the body to guide you and permit different movements to unfold.
THERE IS NO RIGHT OR WRONG WAY TO MOVE.
A FEW SUGGESTIONS:
- Exaggerate whatever movement your body wants to make
- Express yourself through sounds
- Keep your eyes closed while moving
- Breathe deep
- Allow visions, images and memories to play out
